The Pax App will not install from Google Play in NZ. We have used this link to install the app outside of Google Play and it works fine. Download and install the APK here. Once downloaded on your Android Phone find the file and install it. Your Android system may ask if you want to allow independent Apps to be installed, say yes. Once installed you will find the App on your App page on your phone, called "PAX". Open the App and follow the instructions. Ensure your Bluetooth is ON. It will ask you to "Shake your Pax" from side to side until your Pax LED turns Blue, then it will pair with your phone. Once it says "Connected" tap the image of the Pax 3 on the phone screen and it should say "Update Firmware"? This will allow you to update the software in your Pax 3. Now your Pax 3 firmware is up to date and you can use the Pax 3 App in NZ. Some people have reported that their LED lights on the Pax 3 have changed while charging, or become dim and with a different sequence of flashes, this can often be fixed and returned to the original LED sequence by installing the App and updating your firmware. You can also play around with all the settings. Not essential but for those of you who want to use the App this seems to be the best way for Android users in New Zealand. Please note the 10yr Pax Labs/Ploom Warranty does not apply to countries outside Canada, USA, UK etc.. Please contact us directly if you have a Manufacturing Fault within the first 6 months of owning your new Pax, we have your back but after that, you are on your own. Pax Labs USA do not have an international warranty for their products no matter where you buy your Pax. When you see the 10-year warranty included on the box, in a US Video or on other websites we promise you it is not valid in NZ or Australia even if the shop includes it on their page, there is no such thing with Pax Labs USA. This relates to Genuine Pax Labs devices including Pax 1, Pax 2 and Pax 3. This has been the case since day one (around 2008) with the Pax 1 Vaporizer. All our other vaporizer brands have normal coverage, the warranties are valid in NZ and Australia, Pax is and always has been the only brand that won't cover warranty at all if you are outside of the nominated covered Countries. They are slowly spreading and moving into new countries and when they do come our way we will be able to offer the 10-year warranty. This is why we offer all of our Pax customers 6 months coverage ourselves (Crafty E-liquids), if you have a manufacturing fault within the 1st 6 months we are here to help. We can test, repair (rarely), replace or refund so you aren't on your own and 6 months is long enough for any manufacturing faults to appear. We think it's only fair that we offer some warranty for a reasonable time to ensure everyone gets a fault-free device.
